How do I put my tasks on the Lock Screen? Add your tasks in Daylist, install the shared "Update Daylist Wallpaper" Shortcut with one tap, then enable the personal automation (App Close). Daylist walks you through each step with videos. See our full Lock Screen to-do list guide.

Which iPhones are supported? Any iPhone running iOS 17 or later.

Troubleshooting

My wallpaper isn't updating. Make sure the App Close automation is turned on in the Shortcuts app and that "Ask Before Running" is disabled, so it runs automatically. Our automatic wallpaper Shortcut guide covers this in detail.

The Shortcut asks for permission every time. In the Shortcuts app, open the automation, and turn off "Ask Before Running" (and confirm "Run Immediately").

Tasks look cut off. Daylist shows up to 8 tasks on the wallpaper. Complete or remove a few to bring the rest into view.

I don't see the wallpaper change. Lock your phone and raise it to wake — the new wallpaper appears on the Lock Screen, not the Home Screen (unless you set both).
