These terms govern your use of the Daylist app and this website. By using Daylist, you agree to them.

License

Daylist grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app.

Your content

The tasks and other content you create in Daylist are yours. Because Daylist is 100% on-device, this content stays on your iPhone — we never receive, store, or have access to it. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your own device backups if you want to preserve it.

Acceptable use

Use Daylist only for lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt the app, circumvent its intended operation, or use it in a way that violates Apple's policies or applicable law.

Apple Shortcuts & automations

Daylist uses Apple Shortcuts and personal automations to set your Lock Screen wallpaper. These are features of iOS provided by Apple, and their behavior may change with iOS updates. Daylist is not responsible for changes Apple makes to Shortcuts, automations, or wallpaper functionality.

No warranty

Daylist is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the wallpaper will update in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daylist and its creator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including missed tasks or reminders.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Daylist after changes means you accept the updated terms.
