Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Daylist app and this website. By using Daylist, you agree to them.

License

Daylist grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard Apple EULA) and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app.

Daylist Pro subscription

Daylist is free to download and use. Daylist Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks the wallpaper styling controls (colors, text size, spacing, card style), more tasks on the wallpaper, removal of the small "Daylist" mark, and the progress and streak statistics.

• Plans and price. Daylist Pro is offered as a weekly and a yearly plan. The exact price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may vary by region. A free trial may be offered; its length is shown on the paywall.
• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. If a free trial is offered, payment is charged when the trial ends.
• Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the same price unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription, or turn off auto-renewal, in the App Store: iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period remains active until it expires.
• Free trial. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Refunds. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Changes. If we change subscription pricing or benefits, the change applies to future renewals; Apple will ask for your consent to a price increase where required, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

If your subscription lapses, Daylist keeps working on the free tier: your tasks and history are never deleted, and Pro features simply lock again until you resubscribe.

Your content

The tasks and other content you create in Daylist are yours. Because Daylist is 100% on-device, this content stays on your iPhone — we never receive, store, or have access to it. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your own device backups if you want to preserve it.

Acceptable use

Use Daylist only for lawful purposes. Don't attempt to disrupt the app, circumvent its intended operation, or use it in a way that violates Apple's policies or applicable law.

Apple Shortcuts & automations

Daylist uses Apple Shortcuts and personal automations to set your Lock Screen wallpaper. These are features of iOS provided by Apple, and their behavior may change with iOS updates. Daylist is not responsible for changes Apple makes to Shortcuts, automations, or wallpaper functionality.

No warranty

Daylist is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the wallpaper will update in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Daylist and its creator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including missed tasks or reminders.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Daylist after changes means you accept the updated terms.
